Saint-Aubin Premier Cru “Les Pitangerets”

In the heart of the Côte des Blancs, between Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet, Saint Aubin is a wine producing village in the south of the Côte de Beaune. The land is rich in brown clay, with steeply sloping hills facing the East and South-east. Altitude varies from 300-350 meters.

  • Winemaking : 100% destemming, 12-15 day vatting period
  • Aging : barrels for 1 year, with 15% new barrels, then 6 months in stainless steel vats
  • Filtering : very light filtering before bottling
  • Bottling : after 18 months of aging
  • Best consumed : 4-8 years after bottling

The Chassagne-Montrachet vines were removed, and then replanted with Chassagne-Montrachet white.
